Newmont reshuffles executive leadership team
The gold miner announced a restructuring of its top management effective July 1, 2026.
Newmont (NEM), the gold mining company, announced a restructuring of its Executive Leadership Team.
The company appointed Brian Tabolt as chief financial officer, Mark Rodgers as chief operating officer, and David Thornton as chief technology officer. David Fry was promoted to executive vice president of project development.
These changes follow a leadership transition at the top of the organization. Natascha Viljoen transitioned into the role of president and chief executive officer on January 1, 2026.
Viljoen succeeded Tom Palmer, who retired from the chief executive officer role on December 31, 2025.
