Tactile Systems to Buy MyoSleeve Distribution Rights in $3 Million Deal

The asset purchase adds a wearable compression device to the company’s portfolio for earlier-stage chronic swelling patients.

**Tactile Systems Technology (TCMD) agreed to acquire distribution rights to the MyoSleeve™ wearable compression device from ElastiMed, Inc. in a $3 million upfront cash asset-purchase transaction.**

The deal grants Tactile Medical exclusive U.S. distribution rights to MyoSleeve, a wearable compression solution designed for patients in earlier stages of chronic swelling who may not yet require more intensive therapy. No premium or exchange ratio was disclosed, and the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.

The acquisition aligns with Tactile Medical's strategy to expand access to patient-focused solutions across the continuum of chronic swelling care. “Our agreement with ElastiMed adds a differentiated, wearable compression option to Tactile Medical’s portfolio and reflects our strategy of expanding access to patient-focused solutions across the continuum of chronic swelling care,” said Sheri Dodd, Chief Executive Officer of Tactile Medical.

MyoSleeve is a wearable compression device intended for patients with chronic swelling conditions who may not yet need more advanced interventions. The addition complements Tactile Medical’s existing portfolio, which includes therapies for lymphedema, lipedema, and chronic venous insufficiency, by addressing earlier-stage patients with a less intensive, wearable option.

The deal follows Tactile Medical’s February 2026 acquisition of LymphaTech, a digital 3D measurement platform for lymphedema, for $6.8 million upfront plus milestone payments. That transaction expanded Tactile’s lymphedema portfolio with tools for disease identification, progression tracking, and next-generation lymphatic therapies, reinforcing the company’s push into integrated solutions for chronic swelling conditions.

Regulatory approvals are not expected to be a hurdle for the MyoSleeve transaction, and the deal is anticipated to be immediately accretive to earnings. Tactile Medical plans to integrate the distribution rights into its existing commercial infrastructure, leveraging its sales force and clinician relationships to drive adoption.
